Accessibility Statement
Last updated on 22 November 2025
This website is designed to be accessible and easy to use for as many people as possible. As someone who lives with sight loss and works in accessibility, I aim for this website to reflect the same values I promote in my consultancy work.
Commitment to Accessibility
I strive to ensure this website:
Uses readable text sizes and clear font choices
Avoids flashing or unpauseable moving content
Works with screen readers and keyboard navigation
Uses meaningful link names and alt text for images
Provides good colour contrast for readability
Stays simple, uncluttered, and easy to navigate
Accessibility is an ongoing process, and I continue to review and improve the experience.
Known Limitations
While I aim to meet best practice standards, there may be occasional limitations, especially as third-party tools change over time. If you experience any barriers, please let me know so I can address them.
If You Need Help or Want to Report an Issue
You can contact me directly if:
Something on the website is hard to read, navigate, or understand
A page or document isn’t accessible with your assistive technology
You have suggestions to improve access further
Please email:
mark@markmaddisonconsultancy.com
I will do my best to respond and make improvements promptly.
Standards I Aim to Follow
This website aims to align with:
WCAG 2.2 Level AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines)
Best practices for inclusive communication and content readability
Third-Party Tools
This website is built in Framer, and uses Framer analytics. While these tools are widely used and compatible with access technologies, some behaviour is controlled by Framer and may change over time.
If you encounter an accessibility issue related to a Framer feature, please let me know and I will review options for improvement.
Continuous Improvement
Accessibility is not a one-time task. I regularly review this website to improve:
Navigation
Content clarity
Screen reader compatibility
Colour contrast and typography
If you think something could be improved, your feedback is welcome.
